WHAT WE DO

Quiet time — meeting the Lord through devotions and sharing
Themed prayer — praying together for our nation, our people and the nations
Bible study — studying and meditating on one book of the New Testament
Revival lectures — special talks on the theme of revival
Testimonies — grace received through fasting and prayer, and through ministry
Messages — the Word preached to everyone gathered

If my people humble themselves and pray

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

God has promised that when we humble ourselves, pray and earnestly seek him, he will forgive our sin and restore our land.

Why this generation needs to fast and pray

Our nation lives under the tension of a divided peninsula, and young adults and college students are suffering under alcohol, tobacco, cohabitation, gaming, obsession with appearance, depression and suicide. We need to stay awake and fast and pray — for ourselves and our families, for our nation and our people, and for the nations of the world.

Following that calling, LDI holds the Youth Fasting Retreat twice a year to train ourselves in godliness and to pray for our nation and our people.
